Every parent wants their child to be satisfied with life, have healthy relationships, and make wise decisions. However, if you make the wrong decisions with technology, you may be sabotaging all three of those goals. In our Digital Parenting Foundations event, we are focused on helping parents know how to navigate both the dangers and benefits of technology, so that they can make the decision on how it fits into their family.
This event will be held at Bradley Central High School in their Fine Arts Center in Cleveland, TN.
Will there be childcare? Yes! Public Church is coordinating childcare for this event. When you register, you will need to indicate how many children you will be bringing.
What will the event cover? The Digital Parenting Foundations event is focused on helping parents understand the dangers and benefits of technology. It also provides a clear outline of activities and steps you need to take to be sure that technology doesn’t take over your family.
Who should attend the event? If you are a parent with a child who is still at home, you will benefit from the content.
What if I don’t know much about technology? Don’t worry if you don’t know the difference between Facebook and Snapchat or if you don’t even have a smartphone. Not only will we present foundational principles for technology in the home, we will also show where you can go to learn what you need to know about the digital world your children are living in.
Can I bring my teen to the event? This event is focused at parents, not for kids or teens. We would request that you leave your children at home.
